It is unfortunate but Wanna One has finally come to an end, despite rumors of contract extensions.
They are arguably the most successful idol group to have been formed through Mnet's 'Produce 101' series, and while many people assumed that the success that they managed to achieve in just a period of one year was enough to convince management that they are worth more than enough to keep around within the scene, December 31st marked the end of their career as a group.
Fans have naturally been talking about the future of each individual members and which one of them will be most successful.
Only time can tell how things play out for every member, but fans have placed their bets on these five members to do well even after disbandment.
Kang Daniel has always seemed to have been the favorite ever since the second season of 'Produce 101' began. He has also managed to rank first place in the brand reputation index for a total of thirteen consecutive times, meaning he is possibly the most valuable solo male idol in South Korea in terms of both business and popularity. Oh, and he recently beat Pope Francis's Instagram record of accumulating one million followers in twenty four hours. While the pope got one million followers in twelve hours, Kang Daniel did the same in eleven hours.
Being a member of NU'EST puts him in a definite safe zone as the idol group is highly popular in both South Korean and in the US. In fact, his return to the group could very much enhance the already big popularity NU'EST has at the moment.
After being voted by both South Korean and Japan for having the best visuals in Asia, his popularity won't be dying any time soon. It seems hard to imagine his agency Maroo Entertainment messing things up for him as the agency pretty much is given a free opportunity to give birth to a star who can stay in the game for years to come, provided with the right management plan and marketing of course.
