A whole new variety show has premiered on Netflix, starring some of the biggest world stars of the Korean entertainment industry and it is every bit as interesting, gripping, and entertaining as you'd expect! This show is called "New World" and it features Lee SeungGi, EXO's Kai, Super Junior's HeeChul, Jo BoAh, Park NaRae, and Eun JiWon as they navigate the eponymous "New World", where space, time, and money, all function differently. The objective of the game is to live in the New World for 6 consecutive days, complete missions, and earn virtual money (Nyang). At the end of the six days, they can exchange it for real money.

1. LOONA OT12 Performance

In the very first episode of "New World", the first welcoming event that the residents encounter is a live performance of 'Why Not' by none other than, LOONA! The global appeal of LOONA is unparalleled so it was even more exciting to see them perform not once, not twice, but three times!
2. HeeChul comparing his legs with Jo BoAh

In the second episode of "New World", the residents decide that they would be having a field day in HeeChul's house where one of the games will be tug of war with HeeChul's clothes. When asked for clothes, HeeChul brings out a couple of t-shirts that are not nearly enough to make a rope. As such, they suggest he take off his pants and he promptly does! When Jo BoAh is seen giggling because of it, HeeChul was quick to defend himself saying that it was unfair that she got to show her legs wearing shorts and he couldn't, even though they're pretty too!

HeeChul's luck ran out from the very first episode on the show. Even though he started off well, he became broke very soon. Lee SeungGi is known for his quick wit and variety show skills. As such, it wasn't a surprise that he was totally ahead of everyone at the game..or so he thought. After a quick vote where a member would have to lose a large sum of money, Lee SeungGi instantly came down to HeeChul's level, financially. So, when they were fighting over a bag of leftover fries, Park NaRae was quick to comment, "the beggars are fighting!".
4. HeeChul trying to form an alliance and failing

Throughout the first and second episode, HeeChul keeps trying to have someone on his side. Even though he succeeds momentarily for some missions, they soon move away when it comes to their convenience in the game. The number of times he tried to form a squad called "3-1=0" and the number of times it fell through, was hilarious!
5. SeungGi Shield

With his sharp senses, Lee SeungGi was the first resident to visit the Shadow Store (a mysterious place where you can buy strange and special items that will be helpful in the game). He hid when he heard Kai coming and secretively watched him buy items from behind the counter. Later, he bought his own item: a shield. However, it can only be activated by yelling out "Shield!". This prompted SeungGi to think aloud whether he would have to do an embarrassing pose every time he wants to use it. "SeungGi Shield!" he yelled, and held his shield to the sky, giving us Captain America vibes. We cannot wait to see him use it.
