BTS is arguably the world’s most successful and influential idol group of all time.
They’ve set records and accomplished things that no other groups have so far managed to replicate. But their road to groundbreaking superstardom wasn’t an easy journey by any means. Their fans, ARMY, would know as they were beside them from the very beginning when the idea of appearing on US talk shows and performing at the biggest music events seemed only like a daydream.
Through the third episode of ‘Burn The Stage‘, a YouTube Red exclusive BTS documentary, fans learned that J-Hope had actually once left the idol group before their official debut when things weren’t working out. JungKook, who was in tears during that time, begged him to stay. But he eventually ended up leaving the group. The group’s leader RM stepped up and did everything he could to bring him back. He told Big Hit Entertainment that bringing J-Hope back into the group was of the utmost importance in order for BTS to move forward.
Eventually, Big Hit Entertainment and BTS succeeded in convincing J-Hope to return.
J-Hope stated that it was because he strongly believed in each of the members of BTS. He trusted all the members enough to believe that they were going to be ok if they stuck together.
