Introduction

Celebrated since 1987, Insa-dong Korean Art and Culture Festival is a real feast of Korean culture and art. Held April
or May every year in Insa-dong, the repository of Korea’s traditional culture, this
festival features an international folk festival, parade, and singing contest.
Street events include ceramic art demonstrations, portrait drawings by street artists, and
making traditional rice cakes.
