Singwangsa Temple is located on the Nojeoksan Mountain. It is estimated to have been built 160 years ago, and renovated in 1920 by head priest Lee Gyeong-jik. The temple, originally called Togoljeol or Suryangsa, was renamed Singwangsa by monk Hyewon in 1980.

How To Use
Take an intercity bus to Jochiwon.
From Jochiwon Bus Terminal, walk 300 m towards Jochiwon Train Station.
Turn right at the Yeokjeon Intersection, and walk 100 m towards the bus stop.
Take Bus No. 810, and get off at the Sinan 2(i)-ri, Hongik Univ Bus Stop.
Walk 100 m in the opposite direction of Hongik University.
Turn left at the gas station to arrive at Singwangsa Temple.
