A year after their previous release, TRI.BE returns with their shining new single “Diamond” today.
“Diamond” is TRI.BE’s fourth single and contains two tracks that portray the band’s musical journey and showcase a return to their Afrobeats roots from their earlier releases. Consisting of the title track 'Diamond' and B-side 'Run', the new single “Diamond” is TRI.BE’s kick off to a bright start in 2024.
The title track 'Diamond' is a direct representation of TRI.BE and the group’s journey so far; with the six members having different life experiences, different cultural backgrounds, and different personalities, the challenges and hurdles they have faced throughout their career have made them stronger and brighter, just like how a diamond comes to existence. Each of the members represent different gemstones in the 'Diamond' music video, coming together to become one diamond at the end. 'Diamond' flows with a relaxed vibe that comes from the track’s Afrobeats musical inspirations and sounds, along with TRI.BE’s unique choreography that was specifically shaped to match the genre. NOB, the leader of the renown street dance crew LADYBOUNCE, participated in the making of the choreography to perfect the performance.
B-side 'Run' sings the same positivity of 'Diamond' but in a different tune. Based on a combination of Favela Funk’s texture and Miami Bass’s rhythm, 'Run' has a catchy melody that narrates TRI.BE’s message to their fans. All six members of TRI.BE participated in the writing of the track.
TRI.BE’s “Diamond” is a new, mature chapter of the group’s career, both musically and visually, that solidifies the group’s unique position within the K-Pop industry—stay tuned for more to come from TRI.BE in 2024!
