TWICE NaYeon Is Now Being Targeted By Right Wing Netizens, Fans Step Up To Defend
TWICE member Sana’s recent social media post about Japan beginning a new age has sparked quite a bit of controversy in South Korea, mainly from the far right wing nationalists.
But things are taking a nastier twist at the moment as even NaYeon, who is South Korean, is being targeted by the same group of people.
She has been criticized for merely locking arms together with Sana.
“The girl in the blue (NaYeon) looks like a servant girl. Didn’t she lock arms with the Japanese girl before during broadcast?”
“I don’t like using the term servant girl but seriously, isn’t she Korean? She seems ignorant about history.”
And below are how TWICE fans have been reacting.
“Just sue them.”
“NaYeon did nothing wrong..”
“Seriously, what’s wrong with them.”
“Seriously hate them…it must be hard for our female idols to live in our country.”
“Is this what you call “patriotism”? lol f***ing hilarious.”
“Seriously, aren’t they all retards…psychopaths.”
While it is understandable that the history between Japan and South Korea is a highly sensitive topic, it seems ridiculous and unnecessary for the controversy to spread even further by dragging another member in to it, just for locking arms with Sana.
