Having faced strong competition from TWICE and Red Velvet has managed to take the number one position yet again.
January has been a month of success for many K-Pop girl groups. There have been numerous performances, comebacks, and memorable moments up until now. And with so many amazing girl groups out there it is more difficult for us and fans alike to determine which one has made the biggest impact. Luckily, we have the brand reputation index to rely on. Here are the results for the month of January.
K-Pop ruler TWICE took first place for January with a media coverage score of 4,716,864, an interaction score of 2,285,113, and a community score of 4,414,266 for a total brand reputation score of 13,060,755. This was a 44.76 percent increase from the group's December score of 9,022,091.
In second place was SM Entertainment’s Red Velvet. RV had a media coverage score of 1,003,068, an interaction score of 1,251,547, and a community score of 2,956,584 for a total brand reputation score of 8,018,343, which was a 10.78 percent decrease from their December brand reputation score.
