When we talk about the big three entertainment companies in the K-Pop industry, we generally refer to SM, YG and JYP Entertainment. Throughout the years, they have grew in both profit and size. With that being said, they have also expanded their areas of management to actors, actresses, comedians and even models.
Let’s begin by breaking down the companies under and affiliated to SM Entertainment.
Firstly, most fans may have already known that singers and K-Pop idols are managed under SM Entertainment.
Companies affiliated or have a certain percentage of their shares held by SM Entertainment, are known as affiliated companies of SM Entertainment.
This includes SM Culture & Contents, KEYEAST and FNC ADD CULTURE. Actors, actresses as well as comedians of SM are managed under SM Culture & Contents. It is the same for actors, actresses and comedians of FNC Entertainment to be managed under FNC ADD CULTURE.
On the other hand, there are also companies which partner with SM Entertainment for various business strategies and plans. Companies include ESteem, galaxia SM, Mystic Entertainment and FNC Entertainment.
Finally, SM Entertainment also has joint venture with ESteem which gave birth to SPEEKER. SPEEKER is known for its global influencers management.
