Are you ready for an upgraded version of UP10TION's Lee JinHyuk?
On April 5, Kpopmap attended the online media showcase for the release of his latest mini album "SCENE26"! We have been missing him so much and cannot wait to share some of the exclusive information that we have gathered.

"SCENE26" is an album depicting Lee JinHyuk, 26, who has grown up both on the inside and outside. It consists of two versions of "REEL" and "ROLL" to capture the charm of Lee JinHyuk.
In the "REEL" version, fans will notice the runway pictorials with an urban atmosphere and in the "ROLL" version, film pictorials with analog vibes with rich feelings can also be felt!

Lee JinHyuk had made his appearance on the showcase and greeted those who were watching it in a bright manner.

The idol looks sleek and amazing in his layered black and white outfit! Adding on to the fashion, he also looks refined with his handsomely styled hair.
As he sat down with the MC, the idol mentioned that he had actually pulled his neck slightly and is unable to turn his head all the way because of his dance practice. We hope that it is not too serious and he will get better as soon as possible!
Introducing the album, Lee JinHyuk shared that since he is 26 years old this year, he had decided to name this mini album "SCENE26". If his life were a movie, this would be considered his 26th scene.

There is a total of 7 tracks - '5K' (title), 'Silence,' 'Asteroid,' 'Hati-Hati,' 'Be half-awake,' 'Wave' and 'Coup d'état'. Lee JinHyuk took the time to explain that each track has its own colour and it is as if the track is a 'movie genre' of its own.
He also shared that 'Hati-Hati' is actually Indonesian which means to be careful. It was a memorable word to him when he had communicated with many Indonesian fans some time ago.
Seeing how '5K' is the title track of this mini album, he did not miss the chance to show off the point dance moves of the choreography. Lee JinHyuk stood up and showed off a series of 'ok' hand gestures which can be seen repeatedly throughout the choreography! It is simple and easy to follow.
He continued and explained that '5K' is actually the first song from him that is about love. Lyrics such as 'full screen wide' and 'LED' can be seen in the track.
Moving on, Lee JinHyuk performed to us for the first time the stage of '5K'! It was upbeat and definitely and eye-catching song.
Later, he returned and answered questions that were sent to him in advanced from various reporters.

As Lee JinHyuk has been active as an idol, actor and musical performer, he was asked which area as an entertainer he prefers the most. He is grateful to all the opportunities given to him and mentioned that he enjoyed and learned a lot from the different activities. If it is possible, he would also love challenge himself and act in a movie some day.
He further explained by sharing that when he works as an idol, actor or performer, he feels that his attitude varies and switches accordingly. For acting, he needs to work on his facial expressions and emotions. As a musical performer, he needs to know how to reach out to the audiences watching live in the venue.
It looks like reporters also noticed his unique hair style and many had asked about the decision to attempt such hair colour. Lee JinHyuk mentioned that he wanted people to see a different side of him and ended up going for something loud and special.

Since this mini album is about showing his mature and new sides, he pointed out that he had put in a lot of effort in coming up with the varying images he had never shown to anyone. While juggling with his acting schedules, Lee JinHyuk headed to the practice studio every time after the filming schedules concluded to practice or work on the production of "SCENE26".
Through this comeback, Lee JinHyuk also wishes that he would be able to witness the birth of his signature track. He is hoping that the public would think of him immediately when they listen to his music.
He added that it does not have to be his title track and but would be very happy even if it is his B-side tracks.

As his fans had waited for about 10 months since his previous comeback, Lee JinHyuk also emphasized on how thankful he is to them. With the ongoing pandemic, he wished everyone would be able to find strength!
Finally, he expressed "SCENE26" as 'a cut from his life' and concluded the online showcase.
Seeing how Lee JinHyuk is back to promote as an idol, many can look forward to how he will dominate the stage with his amazing stage presence. We can't wait to see him promote on various music shows and hope to see more contents from him soon!
