Wanna One To Disband By The End Of Year As Originally Planned
On December 18th, it is announced that Wanna One will be disbanding as 2018 comes to an end.
According to Swing Entertainment, it was revealed that the contract for Wanna One members will end on December 31st 2018. Despite the end, the boys will continue to promote as a team till the end of January 2019. Their schedule in January 2019 includes various award ceremonies and their last concert with fans.
Looking back at the history of the boys, the 11 of them debuted through Mnet “Produce 101” Season 2 with their first album “1X1=1(TO BE ONE)”. Since then they have continuously worked hard and released their repackaged album “1-1=0 (NOTHING WITHOUT YOU)”, second mini album “0+1=1(I PROMISE YOU)” and special album “1÷χ=1(UNDIVIDED)”.
Finally on November 19th 2018, they released their first and last full length album “1¹¹=1(POWER OF DESTINY)” with title track ‘Spring Breeze’ which touched many of their fans’ hearts. The song also topped the charts on Melon music, Mnet music and so on.
For the past 1 and half years, Wanna One had proved themselves to be one of the best boy groups in history and fans would definitely remember them. Wanna One also mentioned that they are very grateful towards their fans and hope that they will continue to support them for their future music career.
