        BLACKPINKhad recently released their first ever full length album "THE ALBUM" and their fans, BLINK, from all over the world are in love with it.

        "THE ALBUM" consists a total of 8 songs with their title track being 'Lovesick Girls'.

        On Oct. 7, the data of the first day physical sales of "THE ALBUM" was released!

        It was said that on the first day (Oct. 6), the girls had sold more than 589,000 copies of album!

        They had already broken the record of any K-Pop girl groups. Originally, IZ*ONEholds the highest physical first week sales with "ONEIRIC DIARY", selling more than 389,000 for their first week sales.

        Compared to many K-Pop male groups, it is not easy to reach such high amount of physical sales and only top girl groups could achieve such results. Seeing the rise in popularity, BLINK from all over the world were excited and could not imagine the amount of fame they will get in the future.

        The amount of albums being sold are expected to continue to rise as the week goes by. Many are wondering just how much albums BLACKPINK will be sold in the first week physical sales.

        With BLACKPINK's constant rise in popularity globally, many are also loving how each of the members are getting attention in various aspects of entertainment industry.

        The girls will be releasing their documentary "BLACKPINK Light Up The Sky" on Netflix on Oct. 14. JiSoo is also cast as the female lead of upcoming drama "Snowdrop".
