What Is ChoCo1: Find Out Everything You Need To Know About The 5th Generation Boy Group Under ChoCo Entertainment

ChoCo Entertainment

Everyone’s talking about M2’s latest reality show, “ChoCo In Hollywood” and the birth of a brand new global K-Pop group called ChoCo. The growing attention and popularity of the group are also raising curiosity about the members, their concept, and most importantly, the division of ChoCo1 and ChoCo2. So, if you’ve been wondering why ChoCo1 is called ChoCo1, you’ve come to the right place!

ChoCo is an upcoming 5th-generation global K-Pop group under ChoCo Entertainment produced by 1st-generation Korean hip-hop legend ChoPD. “ChoCo In Hollywood” follows the official trainees of ChoCo and their journey from audition to the road to debut, introducing the company’s unique artist development or “incubation” system that encourages the trainees to find their own musical direction without being coerced by competition.

It is on the reality show “ChoCo In Hollywood” that we’re first introduced to ChoCo1. ChoCo1 is the upcoming boy group of ChoCo Entertainment, set to debut in the United States. The name ChoCo1 comes from the fact that it is the first sub-group of ChoCo. As ChoCo is a group that aims to transcend conventional boundaries of group or solo activities, the division into ChoCo1 and ChoCo2 – which will be the girl group under ChoCo led by Anpan (also introduced on “ChoCo In Hollywood”) – is a part of their overall concept.

The leader of ChoCo1 is Jake (real name: Yeom YeChan), and he is the first official trainee of ChoCo1 to be revealed to the public through “ChoCo In Hollywood”. Jake is the All-rounder, Main Vocalist, and Rapper of ChoCo1.

Jake is popular for his dance practice videos and self-mixed tracks that are uploaded on ChoCo’s official YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. He was also recently spotted enjoying Coachella, raising expectations for his debut.
