JYP Entertainment is set to debut a new girl group in February 2022. They are already rumored to be a rookie monster girl group before they have even debuted!

Although there is not a lot of specific information available about them. JYP Entertainment is teasing fans with a lot of material about the group before they debut.

Here is what we know about the group so far.

1. The "Blind Package" reveal

In July, JYP Entertainment unveiled a poster for an album that could be pre-ordered before the members of the group were even revealed. The album is an exclusive limited-edition album with the group's debut single, photo cards, and other contents inside. This created a lot of mystery surrounding the group because no one knew who they were or what they would be buying into.

However, despite the mystery, the album pre-order sales did very well. It was only available for a week but managed to sell about 60, 000 pre-orders.

2. There are 3 confirmed members

JYP revealed the faces of three members of the group through a dance cover of Cardi B's 'Press' that was uploaded on YouTube. Their dance moves are powerful and their synchronization is not a joke. They also happen to have stunning visuals. The three girls are JinNi (the oldest member, born in 2004), KyuJin (born in 2006), and JiWoo (born in 2005). There are still going to be more members added.

3. Not just powerful dancers

JYP Entertainment recently uploaded a video of confirmed member JinNi doing a live performance. Netizens were shocked by her vocals and her ability to give a stable and captivating performance. Many fans are waiting to see how the other members perform and how their singing or rapping abilities are.

Update: The girl group's name is now speculated to be SQU4D.
