If you've lived in South Korea before, or currently living in the country, you might have either had an encounter with these type of people or seen them on the streets.
They blend in quite well with the crowd, but when they suddenly approach people that they target, you should take caution and note that they may be cult members trying to get people to listen to them and join.
Two Stray Kids members once revealed that they were approached by one of these people.
If you're wondering who they are, the first is none other than the beautiful HyunJin.
HyunJin revealed this experience before in the past, saying that on his way to a university area, someone approached him from behind. The person tapped his shoulders, and he assumed that it might have been a casting agent trying to ask him to join a company. Since he was already in JYP, he was ready to say no.
But he was slightly taken aback when the person told him that he had something very important to tell him.
His words were rather convincing to him at the time as he told HyunJin that he could sense something dark and negative within his expressions. This happened to be during a time when HyunJin was going through a tough time as a trainee.
The stranger then asked:
"Are you going through something difficult at the moment"
HyunJin, out of curiosity, followed the person to a strange room where people were bowing to a statue. When HyunJin entered the room, everyone was congratulating him, for reasons he did not know why.
The person who lured him inside asked that he give all the money he had on him to a "god".
HyunJin at the time had around $50 on him. He thought quickly, and just stated he had $5, left the money and left quickly.
Fortunately, that was the end of that.
The second member who was almost lured into a cult was the adorable I.N.
During a holiday, I.N visited Gangnam.
A stranger approached him and somehow built a small level of connection with him, as he was able to guess a lot of things correctly about I.N.
When asked to follow him to a house in order to pray together, I.N out of curiosity, followed. Inside the house were a few other people as well, but what really caught him off guard was a piece of paper with his name written on it.
How creepy and chilling right?
He was told that if he burned that piece of paper, his wishes would come true. Like most people would do, I.N decided to leave at once. However, the stranger grabbed him. I.N protested and said that he was going to leave. The stranger then told him at least burn the paper before he does.
Feeling like he didn't have much choice at the time, he burned the paper and left the house immediately.
Fortunately, nothing happened afterwards and I.N made it out of the house safe and sound.
