Why BTS Are Being Criticized For Their Decision To Perform In Saudi Arabia
Big Hit Entertainment boy group BTS are currently receiving criticism for their decision to perform in Saudi Arabia.
If you’re wondering why they are being criticized for this decision, it mainly has to do with the LGBT community.

Because Saudi Arabia prohibits same sex marriage, many people believe that BTS’s message of ‘Love Yourself’ was contradictory and that the boy group shouldn’t perform there.
However, in BTS’s defense, what’s important is that they go wherever there are fans and people who want to see them. Group member JiMin has stated:
“Simply put, if there are people who want to see us, we will go to them.”
