Woody Faces More Criticism After Winning ‘Inkigayo’ With ‘Fire Up’
After topping the charts on Melon, Bugs, Olleh Music, Genie Music, and Soribada with his song ‘Fire Up’, K-Pop artist Woody has won number one on ‘Inkigayo’ but has not been able to win the hearts of netizens as sajaegi chart manipulations accusations have only intensified.
On February 10th, it was revealed that ‘Fire Up’ took number one on ‘Inkigayo’ after receiving a score of 5,790.
However, the recent win on the music show doesn’t seem to be turning things around for Woody as many netizens have been bringing up the sajaegi chart manipulation accusations again while also commenting on how an ambiguous artist suddenly was able to top the charts in just a few days.
Despite the accusations, no confirmed evidence has been able to prove the chart manipulations accusations surrounding the K-Pop artist.
Below are some of the comments.
“Became a chart topper overnight. Are you serious? I listened out of curiosity but ended up turning the music off in ten seconds. Who listens to this? Why is it number one? No one knows this.”
“Isn’t this song just too bad to be considered number one?”
