X1 Will Debut But Will They Be Able To Perform On Major Music Programs? Music Bank Is Reportedly A No Go
X1, the winning finalists of ‘Produce X 101’, will be debuting on August 27th 6 PM KST, but with the alleged vote rigging controversy surrounding Mnet’s survival program, they’re kind of off on a rocky start.
Previous ‘Produce 101’ based groups, I.O.I, Wanna One, and IZ*ONE, all appeared on ‘Music Bank’ but recent reports have stated that X1 won’t be performing on the music program.
X1’s agency has stated:
“We are in talks with broadcasting stations regarding X1’s appearance on music programs.”
Meanwhile, companies and brands that were originally interested in securing a CF deal with the idol group have been backing out, citing the current investigations about the alleged rigged votes as the reason for doing so.
X1 will be holding the debut showcase for their first album ‘Quantum Leap’ at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
And at the moment, it hasn’t officially been confirmed that X1 will be unable to perform on major music programs yet, as their agency is currently in talks with broadcasting stations.
Stay tuned for updates!
