XG Official
Rising global sensation XG has announced that the final show of their ongoing world tour, XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL”, will take place at the prestigious Tokyo Dome on May 14, 2025. The news was unveiled during their February 22 concert at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, marking a significant milestone as the group’s first-ever performance at the iconic venue.
XG electrified the Ariake Arena crowd with a 23-song setlist featuring fan-favorites such as ‘WOKE UP,’ ‘IYKYK,’ ‘SOMETHING AIN’T RIGHT,’ ‘IN THE RAIN,’ and ‘IS THIS LOVE.’ Notably, ‘IN THE RAIN’ showcased an intricate jacket performance complemented by a dramatic umbrella routine, while ‘IS THIS LOVE’ captivated the audience as each member held a rose during the performance.
A Global Phenomenon
Since kicking off their tour in May 2023, XG has drawn a cumulative audience of 200,000 fans across Asia, North America, Europe, and the UK, with numerous sold-out performances. Their remaining tour dates include stops in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne) in February, China (Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu) in March, and Latin America (São Paulo, Mexico City) in April. With the Tokyo Dome finale, XG will have performed 46 shows across 33 cities in 18 countries and regions worldwide.
XG’s Meteoric Rise
XG, a seven-member Hip-hop/R&B-inspired girl group consisting of Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Harvey, Juria, Maya, and Cocona, has rapidly emerged as a global force in music. The name XG stands for “Xtraordinary Girls,” reflecting their mission to push boundaries and empower fans worldwide through their dynamic performances and music.
After five years of rigorous training, XG debuted in March 2022 with their first single, ‘Tippy Toes’. They made history as the first Japanese artists to top Billboard’s “Hot Trending Songs” Powered by Twitter chart and became the first Japanese girl group featured on the cover of Billboard magazine.
In November 2024, XG’s second mini-album, “AWE”, debuted on the Billboard 200 chart, marking another major milestone. The group’s increasing global influence also led to their debut appearance in a McDonald’s TV commercial in 2025.
XG at Coachella 2025
Further solidifying their place on the world stage, XG is set to perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2025. They will be the only Japanese act at the prestigious U.S. festival, underscoring their growing international presence.
