After the recent scandals surrounding former BIGBANG member SeungRi, YG Entertainment's stocks have fallen 25% in value, causing the agency to have sustained a loss of 55 billion KRW.

Shareholders of YG Entertainment have been taking it up with agency's CEO Yang HyunSuk about the recent incident, demanding compensation for their loss.

In addition, even civic organization Measures for People's Livelihoods have stepped in to demand responsibility taken from Yang HyunSuk, while issuing a statement.

"Any public figure who commands a strong influence over society while lacking a moral compass should not be shielded. We have seen companies consistently denying any involvement in past misbehaviors of celebrities. It's time that we send a clear message to those companies that they are also held accountable."

Meanwhile, Yang HyunSuk is also under suspicion of tax evasion at the moment as well.
