YG New Boy Group Profile: Bang YeDam and YG Trainees Prepare for 2018 Debut
YG just announced that they’re preparing to debut a new boy group in the middle of this year!
On March 13, 2017, YG-Life announced that K-Pop Star 2’s Bang YeDam will be debuting soon with his own boy group. YeDam was the 2nd place winner of the survival program back in 2013. Although he was just 12 years old at the time, he surpassed hundreds of contestants to come in second right after AKMU. After 5 years of hard work under YG’s training system, Bang YeDam is finally getting ready to debut sometime in 2018. YG plans to focus on WINNER, iKON, BLACKPINK, and Sechs Kies from April to June. After the seniors’ promotions, Bang YeDam and the new boy group will debut in the middle of the year.
The group’s lineup will consist of members ranging from 15 to 17 years old. It’s also rumored that they will consist of 7 members in total.
