K-Pop fifth-generation giants ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) have made an impressive debut on the Billboard 200 chart, entering at No. 28 with their fifth mini-album “BLUE PARADISE”. ZEROBASEONE’s Historic Billboard Debut: A New K-Pop Milestone
According to the latest Billboard charts for the week ending April 19, ZEROBASEONE also made significant strides in six other Billboard charts. The group secured the No. 1 spot on both the Emerging Artists and World Album charts, while also ranking second on Top Current Album Sales, third on Top Album Sales, fifth on Independent Albums, and 16th on the Billboard Artist 100.
This monumental achievement follows the release of their first U.S. physical album “BLUE PARADISE” on April 4, marking a pivotal moment in the group’s ongoing efforts to expand their global presence and deepen their connection with fans worldwide. The album features six diverse tracks that blend various genres, including alternative pop, R&B, and punk rock, showcasing ZEROBASEONE’s musical evolution.
Breaking Records and Winning Hearts Worldwide
The nine-member group, consisting of Sung HanBin, Kim JiWoong, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Kim TaeRae, Ricky, Kim GyuVin, Park GunWook, and Han YuJin, continues to break records as the first K-Pop group to have all five of their albums, including their debut, sell over one million copies within a week of release. Their first Japanese album, “PREZENT”, was recently certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan in February 2025.
Since their debut in 2023, ZEROBASEONE has worked tirelessly to engage with their international fanbase, taking over major global stages. In July 2024, the group performed and met fans in the United States at The GRAMMY Museum’s Global Spin Live, followed by a performance at SUMMER SONIC 2024 in Japan, the largest urban music festival in the country. Their TIMELESS WORLD tour in 2024 attracted over 140,000 fans across eight regions, solidifying ZEROBASEONE’s status as the “Fifth-Generation K-Pop Icon.” The group performed in cities such as Singapore, Bangkok, Manila, Jakarta, Macau, and Japan’s Aichi and Kanagawa.
Looking ahead, ZEROBASEONE is set to hold their second fan concert, BLUE MANSION, from April 18 to 20 at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, South Korea. Notably, the April 19 concert will be broadcast live to 105 theaters in Japan, giving even more fans the chance to experience the group’s electrifying performance.
