A K2YWE Talks About Her Favorite Group BLANK2Y

Can you introduce yourself?

Hi!!! Im Strawberry NICKA!!!

 

How and when did you enter the fandom?

December 4, 2022! I’ve been stanning DongHyuk since 2020 when he was in ENOi! And I was very happy that he would debut again. BLANK2Y is so talented and I fell in love with every member. BLANK2Y introduced the last members in February, so it was very exciting to watch them! The feeling that you were with them at the beginning of their journey makes the heart tremble.

 

What are the reasons why this rookie group is your favorite group?

Honestly, they hooked me with their sincerity and love to K2YWE. I followed them at a time when we didn’t even know the line-up, but I already knew they were going to be my favorite band. The CEO of their agency was always posting content with them and news from their lives! This made us happy and we had fun together with the CEO. One day, the members got tired of the night party and played Fifa, and the director told us who won.

 

For the readers who are completely new to the group and members, can you introduce them with your own words?

The name of BLANK2Y consists of two words “BLANK” and “KEY” which means that they will fill the hearts of people who are devastated after the COVID-19 pandemic. They have already had several events abroad and they had two world tours in their plans! We have a cute maknae SoDam who wowed the older members with his charms! DongHyuk takes care of K2YWE everyday and writes long letters on the fancafe. SiWoo is the jester in the group who always maintains a fun atmosphere. U is responsible for powerful dancing and facial expressions. Mikey looks great in front of the cameras and dresses fashionably. SungJun is a very sweet and shy guy. Louis looks powerful and a bit aggressive, but he is very supportive and listens (in April, the BLANK2Y will choose the leader of the group and I really hope it will be Louis), and YoungBin likes various cute things and is very good at photos. DK takes care of the younger members and is also good at dancing.

 

Who caught your attention at first and why? Did you know any members prior to their debut?

DongHyuk of course, because I’ve known him for a long time. But my first bias was SiWoo because I liked his crazy vibe!! All members of this group are incredible and deserve attention and love.

 

Do you have a bias yet? If yes, tell us why.

Maybe SiWoo, SungJun and DongHyuk… I really can’t choose a bias because this group has become my family… I really love each member in their own way!

 

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

Title – ‘Thumbs Up’! This song is very memorable! I’ve been walking for half a year and humming “Pam Pam Pam”. B-side – ‘Touch’. I really like this song because it has a cute and fresh vibe and also very beautiful lyrics and I love dancing to it! Be sure to watch the performance video for the song!

 

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or other from your favorite group or bias?

Dance cover on ‘MAVERICK’ – THE BOYZ from BLANK2Y. BLANK2Y is a big fan of THE BOYZ and this was their first cover of their song! At that moment, all the K2YWE were streaming this cover and singing ‘MAVERICK’. Until now, when we hear this song, we think of BLANK2Y.

 

What are the things you are looking for in their future activities?

I really hope they have more events for the global fans who can’t come to the concert.

 

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

“I will support K2YWE in whatever way they choose.”

 

What type of concept do you prefer: cute, dark, sexy, etc?

Cute and fresh! I think this is the most wonderful concept! I really want to see the new BLANK2Y album in this concept!

 

What is your best souvenir with your favorite group until now?

Oh I had so many moments like this haha… I got fancafe responses from all the BLANK2Y members! SungJun and Mikey cheered me on in the comments, and SoDam and I discussed the drama! DongHyuk and Louis saw my ‘Thumbs Up’ challenge video and praised me! Also in March 2022, I was doing a project with the fanbase, and CEO KEYSTONE Ent. sent this video to Mikey and he thanked us! They also answered me on the broadcasts 🙁 I hope that one day I can get to the concert or talk to them on videocall :(.

 

Can you share with readers the first ever picture you’ve saved of your bias on your phone?

It was this pre-debut SiWoo photo!!

For me, my bias SiWoo is funny older brother!!

 

What is a random fact that you think people don’t know about them?

Oh, I think they have a chaotic dorm. They didn’t have a frying pan and there was only one pot, which was missing. They also had food in the refrigerator for a very long time and mushrooms began to grow in it.. This is my favorite fact about them.

 

Can you recall a moment where you cried with your bias?

Oh, I cried with SiWoo for the first time when they were watching fan videos on the last episode of their reality show “BLANK2YS” and SiWoo was moved. My friends were in this video and I started crying too. This is a very valuable moment.

 

Name 1 quality in your bias that you wish you had.

Friendly.

 

Is there some food you saw your bias group eat that made you crave it too?

YES!! It’s strawberry latte! I don’t like coffee, but SungJun has talked about it so much that I want to try it too.

 

If your bias were to collab with another idol, who do you think would be best?

SiWoo and JuYeon (THE BOYZ) because SiWoo is a THE BOYZ fan and I am sure he would be happy.
