Put a finger down if you've ever watched a K-Drama with a convenience store food scene and instantly started craving it. Now that all of our fingers are down, let us tell you which Korean convenience store foods are a must-try when you come to South Korea.

Convenience stores are an integral part of Korean society and culture, so visiting them while you're in Korea is highly recommended. Open 24/7, these stores cater to the fast-paced lifestyles of people living in South Korea. They offer a wide range of products and are known for having everything you could possibly need. Whether it's a quick bite, a late-night craving, or an umbrella on an unexpectedly rainy day, convenience stores are truly convenient, providing easy accessibility at all times.

So, if you're planning to come to South Korea, here are some convenience store foods you need to try!

1. Cup Ramyun

This is the very foundation of the Korean convenience store experience. Remember when Kim WooBin's quick ramyun meal at a convenience store got interrupted by a gorgeously sleepy Park ShinHye in "The Heirs"? Or, how 2PM's Ok TaecYeon got drunk off of ramyun at a convenience store in "Heartbeat"? While that may have been a little exaggerated (he was a vampire, after all), your tryst with cup ramyun will only deepen once you try it. At some Korean convenience stores, you can even customize your ramyun toppings!

2. Dosirak (Lunchbox)

Looking for the most affordable way you can try out authentic Korean food? You have to check out the dosirak at Korean convenience stores. Dosirak is a packed lunch box, usually consisting of rice and banchan or side dishes. However, these days, there are as many varieties of dosirak as you can imagine. From pork belly dosirak to vegan dosirak, low-calorie ones to ones with soup, you name it, they'll have it. Now, you may not find Jeon DoYeon's dosirak from "Crash Course In Romance", but the convenience store dosirak is pretty good too!

3. Kimbap

No Korean convenience store visit would be complete without kimbap. In "The Glory", Song HyeKyo's character only ever eats kimbap, usually from a convenience store. There are different types of kimbap, such as triangle kimbap, also known as samgak kimbap, tuna kimbap, eomuk kimbap or fish cake kimbap, and more. What they all have in common is that they are delicious.

4. Hotbar

Who can forget the iconic scene from "Touch Your Heart" where Oh JungSe brings a hotbar bouquet for Yoo InNa? Arguably the perfect midnight snack, hotbar is extremely popular among Koreans. It is a deep-fried and skewered snack made of fish cakes, sausages, vegetables, or other items. The skewered items are then coated with spicy or sweet sauces, making them ideal for when you're craving a flavor bomb.

5. Sausage

This list would not be complete without the famous Korean convenience store sausages. One of Lee SungKyoung's favorite snacks in "Weightlifting Fairy Kim BokJoo" was the peel-off sausage, and anyone who has watched that K-Drama has probably wanted to give it a try, too. Well, if you happen to be at a Korean convenience store, you do not want to miss it. Pair it with your convenience store ramyun and you have the perfect K-Drama meal!

6. Banana Milk

This one's a must-try for both K-Pop and K-Drama fans. Once you taste the Korean convenience store banana milk, you can never go back. Its addictive taste will be etched on your taste buds. Even the mighty gumiho Lee Yeon, played by Lee DongWook in "Tale Of The Nine Tailed" can't get enough of it. How are we mere mortals expected not to fall in love?
