One of the funniest K-Dramas on air right now is "Boyhood". Telling the story of a timid high school boy, Jang ByeongTae (played by Yim SiWan), who gets mistaken for a formidable fighter nicknamed "White Tiger of Asan" - Jung GyeongTae (played by Lee SiWoo), and starts to rule at his new school, "Boyhood" is unbelievably entertaining. While Yim SiWan is delivering a fantastic performance, as always, it is also Lee SiWoo who is drawing "Boyhood" viewers' attention as the real "White Tiger of Asan".

Lee SiWoo's character Jung GyeongTae, is a force to be reckoned with around town. He is a menacing fighter, tall, well-built, fearsome but incredibly good-looking, brooding, and intimidating. He is known as the "White Tiger Of Asan" who can wipe out multiple people in a fight, all by himself. He enjoys cigarettes best when his hands are laced with blood, and word about his reputation has spread to neighboring regions too.

So, when GyeongTae is rumored to be moving to Buyeo, it has everyone talking. However, Jang ByeongTae, who also transfers to the same school, gets into an accident with Jung GyeongTae, leaving him hospitalized. Meanwhile, ByeongTae joins his new school and is mistaken for GyeongTae because of the similarity in their names, and his new era begins.

Lee SiWoo's performance as the dark and mysterious "Asan Baekho" (Baekho means "White Tiger") in "Boyhood" definitely makes us look forward to his scenes in the drama. His action sequences are seamless and exhilarating, delivered with perfection. At the same time, GyungTae has a cute side too, which we're excited to see more of.

Lee SiWoo may be a rookie actor, but we can already see him earning rising star status soon enough.
