"Connection" revolves around an ace detective of the drug squad who, using a friend's death as a clue, unravels the truth behind a friendship that has deteriorated over 20 years. With Ji Sung, the husband of Lee BoYoung, making a return to the screen as the lead, he is joined by Jeon MiDo, Kwon Yul, Kim KyungNam, and Jung SoonWon in major roles, enhancing the drama's quality.
Ji Sung plays the role of narcotics team captain Jang JaeKyung, earning the respect of his juniors and the trust of his seniors within the police force.
