KCON Is Returning To Japan In May & The US In August

Fun-filled days of KCON has returned to Japan & the US once again! CJ ENM recently announced the dates and venues of this year's KCON in Japan and LA. The event in Japan will be held for 3 days and in the US for another 3 days. Each KCON is expected to have exciting programs with its content tailored for each region.

"KCON 2023 Japan"

Dates: May 12 (Friday) / May 13 (Saturday) / May 14 (Sunday)

Venue: Makuhari Messe

 

"KCON 2023 LA"

Dates: August 18 (Friday) / August 19 (Saturday) / August 20 (Sunday)

Venue: Crypto.com Arena, LA Convention Center

 

 

Next month (March 18-19), KCON will be heading to Thailand with its lineup of performers, which include ATEEZ, GOT7's Bambam and YoungJae, (G)-IDLE, Kep1er, TEMPEST, and more.

This year's KCON will also be available in livestreaming, giving chance for fans who cannot attend in person to enjoy the festivities.

KCON, which started out with an audience of 10,000 in 2012, has now grown into the world’s biggest K-Culture festival. This year, KCON will meet global fans in Thailand, Japan and the US, advancing the spread of K-Pop and K-Culture around the world.

KCON has been noted to be a frontrunner in leading the global expansion of K-Pop and K-Culture, gathering about 1.33 million attendees so far. Last year, KCON Premiere held its festivities in Seoul, Tokyo, LA, Chicago, and the signature KCON proceeded in LA, Saudi Arabia, and Tokyo. KCON was held as a hybrid event last year, and its offline and online audience reached 30.15 million.
