So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, I’m Dhwani (@MinozFantasy225 Twitter) from India. A diehard FANTASY of SF9.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

It was during lockdown mid 2020 I watched "Extraordinary You" & fell hard for RoWoon. While searching about him I came to know his part of K-Pop group SF9 & after listening their songs & watching contents I fell for all members. SF9 made my 2020 best year.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

There are many reasons but one of the most important reasons is that I was going through a rough time & at the right time SF9 came into my life & made my life better. SF9 are like 9 colors rainbow in my life. They will always come to communicate or update us (FANTASY) no matter how busy they’re. All 9 members have something which always motivates me to keep going in life. I feel like no matter what happens these 9 boys will always be there with me. SF9 is home to me.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

It was RoWoon because of his character Haru in "Extraordinary You". His cuteness as Haru made me fall for him. He acted Haru so amazingly who had no identity how can you not fall in love with him?? Even I fell hard for his beautiful voice when I heard him sing 'First Love' OST of "Extraordinary You". He is really a beautiful person inside out. His perspective on seeing life always amazes me.
I highly recommend Kpopmap readers to watch his latest drama “ Tomorrow “ which puts light on daily social problems we face in our lives. The drama gives message on how to live for tomorrow and many other lessons.

Who is your bias, and why?

Most important thing there’s no thing like bias when it comes to SF9. Every FANTASY will agree with me on this. You’ll fall for ever member for many reasons & they all wrecked you hard every day. So I’m an proud OT9 stan. All 9 has my won my heart.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

For new fans I would like to suggest their title song 'Good Guy' from their first full album "First Collection". B-sides 'See U tomorrow' from their 7th mini album "RPM" and 'For Fantasy' from 10th mini album "Rumination" all 9 members have written the lyrics for this song.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

One of my favourite stages of them they did for "KINGDOM: LEGENDARY WAR' finale round.

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

"SF9 Center" is their own variety show where they fulfill members dreams. It will make you laugh till you cry.

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

This lines are from 'Shine Together', title song of their special album for 4th Anniversary "Special History Book". These lines & song always makes me feel better whenever I feel down. One of my favourite songs of them.

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

YoungBin- "Just relax and be yourself. Don’t put too much pressure and have fun."
InSeong- "If not now then when?"
JaeYoon- "Don’t worry! You know why? Because we’re here for you. Since you have SF9 with you, everything will go well. Because we have FANTASY, everything goes well for us."
DaWon- "When someone say they think you can’t do it. Just think of me. I believe you can do it. "
RoWoon- "Finding happiness even in little things you do."
ZuHo- "No one is useless. Everyone’s value is worth precious."
Yoo TaeYang- "Dream is a motivation that will help you to keep moving forward in your life."
HwiYoung- "There's no going back if you get to know us more. Will that be alright?"
Chani- "Happiness is the most important thing in my life. Whatever you do, you should feel happy."

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

SF9 literally changed me as a person & made me more confident in daily life. They’re my strength. They heal me always.

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

Fangirling makes me feel happy & releases my stress. Even I got to meet so many amazing people online. Fangirling is very important part of my life because of it I found my dream career.

What is your best souvenir with your favorite group until now?

During SF9 4th anniversary there was an event to write letters to them & later they surprised us by showing the letters in their 'Shine Together' MV followed by our all names will be always be my best souvenir with SF9. Never seen anyone doing this for their fans. This really touched my heart.

Can you recommend words that your bias like to hear to new fans who don't know yet about it?

Thank you for being my artist. These always give members strength & make them happy.

Can you describe your bias in only one word?

I’m OT9 stan so they’re my “family” .

Can you share a fun episode that only fans from your fandom know to readers?

Elephant School.

If you are collecting goods, what is your most precious treasure?

SF9 seasoning greetings 2022 dairy my precious treasure. Diary itself is so pretty with holographic (fandom color) effect cover.

If you have a chance to cook for the group, what will you cook for them?

I would love to cook some of my favourite Indian dishes for them. I really want SF9 to try delicious Indian food.

What's your favourite 2022 moment involving your bias?

"SF9 Imperfect concert ".

Yes, I have made many amazing FANTASY friends & thank you to SF9 for making me meet great friends.
