There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other’ stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

 

Karry from the Philippines is the next fan to answer our questions. She is a fan of NINE.i and more particularly of TaeHun. Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

My name is Karry and I’m from the Philippines.

 

How and when did you enter the fandom?

So first of all, I didn’t know about this rookie group and even their entertainment agency. But thanks to someone who introduced NINE.i to me, I became a fan and got interested in them because they deserve support and they are worth stan. I know this group since February.

 

What are the reasons why this rookie group is your favorite group?

I have many reasons why NINE.i is my favorite group but the main reason is that they are the kind of group that even though they are not yet that popular at least they proved to us that they can nail every performance and also because of their amazing talent.

 

What do you think differentiates this rookie group from the others?

I can’t compare them to others because I know that they all have their own talent and passion for being an idol.

 

For the readers who are completely new to the group and members, can you introduce them with your own words?

NINE.I IS A SUPER TALENTED GROUP SO STAN NINE.I FOR A BETTER FUTURE.

 

Who caught your attention at first and why? Did you know any members prior to their debut?

Vahn and Winnie caught my attention first because of their unique beauty, I knew them all since pre-debut era.

 

Do you have a bias yet? If yes, tell us why.

My first bias was Vahn until they debuted but one-day TaeHun caught my attention more. Then months ago, I changed my bias to TaeHun.

 

What do you particularly like in this debut title track? Do you have a favorite B-side?

I love the message of the song and also the beat it is really different from the others. I really like all of their songs but ‘Daze Days’ and ‘Wasted Youth’ hits differently.

 

 

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or other from your favorite group or bias?

I’ll recommend all of their contents.

 

What do you have in common with your favourite idol?

There’s a lot but mostly is the ATTITUDE.

 

If you could write a book about your bias, what would the first and last lines be?

The first line would be “I am so grateful that I was able to discover these guys”……… and the last line would be “I am so proud of them”.

 

Have you ever made a new friend because of K-Pop?

Yes, I have met a lot of new friends because of K-Pop

 

Can you describe your bias in only one word?

Cool

 

What are the things you are looking for in their future activities?

More Variety shows and more promotion for ‘NEW WORLD’ era.
