Kpopmap Fan Interview: An Indian AROHA Talks About Her Favorite Group ASTRO & Her Biases MJ And Cha EunWoo

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Anushka is the next fan to answer our questions. She is from India and is a fan of ASTRO and her biases are MJ and Cha EunWoo. Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, I'm Anushka from India.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

Well, I entered the AROHA fandom in the month of January of the year 2021 after watching Cha EunWoo, a member of the group in the K-Drama "True Beauty".

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

The reason I love ASTRO are a lot actually, to be honest, they are underrated and they are so kind and loving towards their fans, they debuted with a young and freshing concept and gave the fans a lot of bops.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

It was Cha EunWoo who caught my attention at first and it was because of his visuals, his visuals are just ethereal.

Who is your bias, and why?

I have two biases in ASTRO and that is MJ and Cha EunWoo, the reasons I made them my bias are:
MJ- He's literally the cutest member of ASTRO no doubt in that and he's also known as the happy virus of ASTRO which he is indeed. MJ is a pretty funny guy and he just makes us laugh through his pranks on EunWoo and other members and MJ's high notes are out of this world also he's the reason why we AROHA laugh and smile more.

Cha EunWoo- Is there anyone even who doesn't like Cha EunWoo I don't think so. EunWoo is not only beautiful but he's also very kind, polite, and respectful. He's really talented aside from being an Idol he's a K-Drama actor and knows how to play piano he's also intelligent. The fact that wherever EunWoo goes he never forgets to promote ASTRO and that's the best thing about him.

Title track: 'Knock'.

These are my fav lines of the song 'Hide and Seek' of ASTRO, this was their debut song and not gonna lie this song has beautiful lyrics.

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

EunWoo makes me feel happy whenever I'm in a sad mood, his funny moments, his kindness moments with his fans and also my day becomes happier whenever I see him going live, he makes me believe in myself more. His voice makes my day better.

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

My favourite part of fangirling is becoming a part of AROHA fandom made me meet new people I got many new friends even who are AROHA so that's definitely the best part of fangirling for me.

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

I don't think there are many misunderstandings or prejudices about my group but there are two things which I think people get wrong about ASTRO that it firstly ASTRO are talented K-Pop group they deserve more fans and not gonna lie many people and other K-Pop stans are sleeping on them. Secondly, people should stop hating EunWoo he doesn't overshadow ASTRO but he always promotes ASTRO in every reality show or award shows.
