Under the splendid lights of Seoul, the production presentation for the Netflix series "Kiseiju: The Grey" was held at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan-gu. The event was attended by actors taking poses in front of cameras including Lee JeongHyeon, Jeon SoNee, Koo KyoHwan, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim In-kwon, along with director Yeon Sang-ho. "Kiseiju: The Grey" is a work that depicts the fierce battle between a dedicated team trying to stop parasitic life forms that take humans as hosts and is scheduled to be released on April 5th.
In this series, Lee JeongHyeon plays the role of Choi JoonKyung, the leader of the Grey team, who risks her life to eradicate the parasites after losing her husband. Having joined the shooting just three months after giving birth, she revealed that she had specially built her body to digest the heavy shotgun action. "I didn't have arm muscles, so I carried around two 3kg dumbbells to prepare," Lee JeongHyeon's passion revealed her strong determination for the role she was playing.
Lee JeongHyeon also shared the detailed preparation process for the gun action. "When doing gun action, the movements had to be concise to look cool," she said, "I prepared with the martial arts team, carrying the heavy shotgun to look cool." Her effort makes us anticipate the intense appearance of Choi JoonKyung, the leader of the Grey team, in "Kiseiju: The Grey."
"Kiseiju: The Grey" explores the possibility of coexistence between parasitic life forms and humans, depicting the struggle for humanity's survival.
