[LETTER] Here's A Small Letter I Wanna Dedicate To K-Pop Star And Member Of ASTRO, MoonBin, Who Recently Left All Of Us To Go To Heaven

Recently, as we all know, a very talented and beautiful K-Pop star has left all us. Fans all around the world were devasted by the news of K-Pop group ASTRO’s member MoonBin passing away on April 19, 2023. As an AROHA, I could understand the pain of all the AROHAs around the world. He’s been my bias too and this news of him passing away just broke my heart into pieces. I hope all the members of ASTRO are staying strong, as well as his sister, Billlie's Moon SuA. Sending condolences and love to all his friends and colleagues.

I started stanning ASTRO around 2020, and they have been my comfort group since then and MoonBin, MJ, and EunWoo (Cha EunWoo) had been my biases in that group from the day I started stanning them. I never thought a day like this will come in my life when the member I adored so much will leave us like this. It’s always had been my dream to visit their concert and see all six of them performing together. I was left so heartbroken by the news that for two days, I just kept on crying, and whenever I used to see edits popping on Instagram reels, I used to cry more. But we have to accept the reality and keep on supporting our other four boys and his sister.

Here’s a small letter I want to dedicate to the idol who healed me and made me smile always:

Dear MoonBin,
When my friend broke the news of you passing away, I couldn’t believe it first but then, when I opened Twitter I saw everyone posting the news of you passing away and then Fantagio confirming the news of you passing away. It was night at my place when I saw this news and the way my heart broke into pieces. I couldn’t believe the news I just saw and that night turned out to be one of the worst nights in my life. Till the next morning, I couldn’t get over the fact that you’re no more. My dream was to visit ASTRO’s concert and meet all the members in future but I guess that’s not possible anymore now. MoonBin, you’re such a precious soul. MoonBin was that kind of person in the lives of AROHAs, who always took care of them and healed them. One of the most talented K-Pop idol, you were. You always protected AROHAs and never left them alone. You were such a good brother, a good son and the member of ASTRO who always looked and took care of SanHa (Yoon SanHa), MJ, JinJin, EunWoo, and Rocky. I know I cannot bring you back, and I hope you’re seeing how much your friends, members and AROHAs love you and miss you. The day you passed away, the world just lost a precious soul. ASTRO will always be a six-member boy group for me, as it has been. Thank you for always working hard and always caring for the AROHAs, thank you for being a good friend to EunWoo and for being a good brother to Moon SuA.
MoonBin, I hope wherever you are you are happy and cheerful as you were in Earth. I hope the world will be kinder towards you in your next life. You were my bias since day 1, and you will be continue to be my bias. You’re that precious soul and K-Pop idol who will forever remain in the hearts of us AROHAs and other fans.
