SF9 Opens Pop-Up Cafe At Soundwave Hapjeong

After leader YoungBin and main vocalist InSeong returned from their military service and RoWoon’s departure from the group in September last year, SF9 is finally back with their 13th mini-album “Sequence” on January 8. The album features a total of six songs with different genres, which revolve around the theme of love and separation and demonstrate a more mature image of the group. 

Although JaeYoon is currently in the military and is thus absent from this comeback, Fantasy (their fandom) are particularly excited for this new album as this is SF9’s first album in a year since they dropped their last mini album “The Piece Of 9” in January 2023.

To celebrate their long-awaited comeback and new beginning as an octet with Fantasy, SF9 is running a pop-up café event in collaboration with Soundwave Hapjeong from January 9 to 21 from 11:00 to 20:00 KST daily. 

The venue features group concept photos of all three versions of the album, as well as LED screens displaying individual members’ “Clearness” version concept photos and playing the music video of the title track 'BIBORA'. 

The café offers seven types of drinks ranging from tea, ade, to coffee named after each member, as well as muffins with three flavors including blueberry, caramel, and chocolate. Fans who order a drink can receive an unreleased postcard from a random member, and those who purchase a drink together with a muffin will be able to get a random postcard and photocard. Fans can even receive a fortune cookie with good luck messages from a random member for every 30000 won spent on the café menu. 

Apart from getting beverages and snacks, the café also features a lucky draw event, where fans can win a special photocard for every "Sequence" album purchased. Fans who get all three versions of the album will even receive a Polaroid photo from a random member. Fans who buy albums in the café can also participate in a special sign card event to get a chance to win a signed photocard or polaroid. 

The café also sells winter-themed official merchandise for the new album including gloves, handbags, and tumblers, and each product goes with a random photocard. 

Fans can also leave messages on the window to show their love and support for SF9 and their new album.
