        Park HyungSik has solidified himself as an extremely gifted actor, able to immerse audiences across various genres and series. He's able to fully embody his character and bring them to life on screen before us. Most recently he's been stealing hearts as Yeo JeongWoo through the healing JTBC series, "Doctor Slump". Along with his captivating skills, the star's chemistry with Park ShinHye has been electrifying, keeping viewers glued to their seats from start to finish.

        With his success in the realm of acting, it can be hard to forget that Park HyungSik once stood on stage as a member of idol group ZE:A. Although they have not officially disbanded, the group has been on an indefinite hiatus with all its members pursuing their individual careers. Despite dedicating his efforts onto his acting career, Park HyungSik has occasionally showcased his stunning vocal prowess through OSTs, drama promotion schedules, or fanmeetings.

        With that said, here are but some reminders of Park HyungSik's roots as a singer.

         

        1. "Hwarang" OST — 'I'll Be There'

        While acting in "Hwarang", HyungSik effectively provided audiences with a strong case of second lead syndrome. These feelings of intense yearning were amplified even further the moment viewers heard his melodic singing playing in the background. Even years later, 'I'll Be There' creates a rising warmth in the hearts of K-Drama fans everywhere.

         

        2. Lovely Duet With Lee SungKyoung

        Park HyungSik previously appeared on YouTube channel Dingo Music and teamed up with Lee SungKyoung to provide an uplifting cover of the Korean version of 'True Colors'. Their voices combined instill feelings of hope and remind us that a brighter tomorrow is just ahead. Park HyungSik's voice acts as a remedy to any ailing heart.

         

        3. 'Your Every Moment'

        Just last year, Park HyungSik was able to greet his fans through "SIKcret Time", a series of fan meetings held at various locations. One of the many gifts he decided to present to his loyal supporters were various covers, with one being Sung SiKyng's 'Every Moment Of You'. His honey-like vocals filled the room, leaving behind a trail of butterflies. Even a fancam was able to capture this sentiment, reminding everyone of HyungSik's sweet vocals.

         

        4. Performance At "2014 KBS Drama Awards"

        Park HyungSik has stood on many stages for a number of different reasons. Although it's nearing almost a decade since, fans are able to fondly remember his duet with Nam JiHyun at the "2014 KBS Drama Awards". He certainly flexed his idol roots with his natural movements, shot heart eyes at the camera, and confidently led his duet partner across the stage.

         

        5. Short Snippets Of 'Breath'

        For various promotions during one period of his acting career, when asked to display his vocal abilities, Park HyungSik naturally gravitated to Park HyoShin's 'Breath'. Although all were but a short snippet, his heartwarming vocals were able to leave a noticeable impact on those listening in person and fans watching at home. Hopefully one day HyungSik will provide a full cover 'Breath', leaving everyone breathless in the process.

         

        6. "Our Blooming Youth" OST - 'Bud'

        Last year in 2023, Park HyungSik was able to greet K-Drama fans through historical series "Our Blooming Youth". If swooning viewers through his character wasn't enough, he once again lent his voice to another wonderful OST. His voice offered such comforting warmth that had the power to wrap anyone in a blanket of sweet comfort.

        Although he's become an amazing actor, Park HyungSik has managed to maintain his spellbinding vocals, constantly reminding everyone of his idol roots.
