There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other's stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Eva is the next fan to answer our questions. She is from France and is a fan of THE BOYZ, and particularly of Q! Check out how she entered the fandom, the songs and content she advises to new fans, and much more!

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

My name is Eva. I'm 20 and I'm from France.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I've heard about THE BOYZ several times but I never really started stanning them until they came up with 'MAVERICK', a title track that I fell for. The concept, the fits, the high note every time was perfect. Since then, I became a THE B.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

I love THE BOYZ for their songs of course, but mostly for their personality.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

I think Q and JuYeon caught my attention at first because of their dancing skills.

Who is your bias, and why?

Hard to choose but I'll say that my bias is Q. He is a ball of sunshine. His smile can light up the whole world.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

For the title track I'll recommend 'TATTOO'. This title track is so underrated, because of the unusual concept I guess, but worth to watch.

And for the B-side, I'll say without hesitation 'Merry Bad Ending'. If I could marry this song I'll do it.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

'Reveal' Q "MCOUNTDOWN" Fancam. I had an obsession with this fancam. The stage is so pretty and you can see how sharp ChangMin's (Q's) moves are.

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

For the group I'll recommand to watch a small reality show (2 ep) called " 스쿨오브락(LOCK)". You can spot their different (but lovely) personalities.

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

"이 고통이 날 더 비참히 아름답게 만들어."
(This pain makes me more miserably beautiful). It's from the angry SunWoo rap in 'TATTOO'. It says it all.

If you could spend the day with them, what would you want to do together?

I think I would love to stay home watching horror movie and eating snacks!

Can you share with readers the first ever picture you've saved of your bias on your phone?

The first time I told my friends that I liked Q, they sent me this pic and it's the first one i've got so far ^^.

What is a random fact that you think people don't know about him?

He is obsessed by Chucky. He does have a Chucky doll and used to scared the member with it x).

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

It make me wanna be a better person everyday, focusing on the "today" moments with small things that matter.

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

I think THE BOYZ has the best dancer of the 4th gen but still didn't get the opportunity to show the world their skills.
