In a video for Dazed Korea titled "Balance Game," MinSi had to choose between two options, and when asked between BTS vs NewJeans, she said: "NewJeans. I really like NewJeans, I enjoy listening to their new songs too. I met them for the first time when I was a presenter and delivered their award (MMA 2022). They were so lovely, fresh, pure, cute, and adorable."

"MAMA Awards"

MinSi participated in the "2023 MAMA AWARDS" as one of the presenters. The awards created a playlist called "Good Vibes Playlist" where artists chose songs. MinSi chose 'Super Shy' by NewJeans. She said: "My favorite is NewJeans' 'Super Shy'. I am a big fan of NewJeans, so it's a song I really like." She even danced a bit of the choreography!

"Blue Dragon Awards", Go MinSi and HyeIn 

But the peak of interactions between MinSi and NewJeans was at the "48th Blue Dragon Film Awards"! MinSi won the "Best New Actress" award, and right after her speech, NewJeans performed! MinSi's reactions were so adorable that the audience fell in love. In an interview with the Korean media, MinSi said: "When I got the award and was coming off the stage, HyeIn patted me on the back and said, "Congratulations!," and I was so surprised that I thought my heart was going to burst. I told her I was a real fan."

During the promotions for the new season of "Sweet Home," MinSi went to the radio show "Park Sohyun's Love Game" where she chose the song 'ETA' for the radio. She said that she should have had more fun and enjoyed NewJeans performance more at the "Blue Dragon Film Awards."
