An Indian ARMY Who Understands Her Idol, BTS' j-hope

Aarya Kalash, a fan of BTS, shared her thoughts, her favorite tracks and content by the group. She also talked about her experience as an ARMY and how her bias, j-hope, has impacted her life. Read her interview below.

Introduce yourself.

Hi, my name is Aarya Kalash, who is obsessed with music from India.

Can you introduce your idol?

My favorite idol is j-hope from BTS.

When and how do you become fan?

I become fan in 2019, and the first song I heard was 'Life Goes On'. I really liked the song as it was motivational and melodious.

What was the reason that made you enter the fandom or that impressed you?

I entered the fandom because it is a fact that the members of BTS are really sweet, charming, and kind. They also compose their own music which makes the listener feel better, and the one impresses me the most is that they love their fans a lot. They also motivate their fans in every aspect.

How do you deal with the untrue stories about your favorite idol?

Whenever I hear of untrue stories or rumors, only one line comes to mind: “Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools and accepted by idiots,” and I am not one of them. So, I try to make people aware of truth.

I am sure you have been inspired by your idol. So, what is his great impact on your life?

My idol has inspired me a lot in many ways. Like, he taught me to smile and be happy in every situation, to always think positive and it’s only because of him that I’ve started loving myself. He also taught to never give up on my love for dancing.

Can you recommend some video or interview for new people, from which they can get to know your favorite idol?

You guys can listen to some of his songs as they’re really good. You can watch "Run BTS!" episodes and the interview done by James Corden and Jimmy Fallon, in which they’ve interviewed the whole group.

Do you have any similarities with your idol?

Yes, everything is similar between me and my idol. WE both love dancing. We love cheering up others when needed. We have the same favorite food and drinks. Most of all, we hate snakeu.

What do you like about your favorite idol?

He is so sweet, kind, handsome, lovely. In short, he is perfect.

There are always some words from idols that we remember for lifetime, do you have any?

"Let’s not push off the things we need to do today for tomorrow."

Please love everyone equally and do not be toxic.
To non-ARMY,
It is okay if you don’t like BTS. Just don’t hate them because there is no reason to do so.
