For those who might not know, "Secret Playlist" tells the story of an ordinary university student, HanJu, who secretly uploads cover videos on Stargram and MeTube (a fictional version of Instagram and YouTube, if you will) under the name "PLII". As PLII, HanJu is widely appreciated for her skills as a singer-songwriter, which catches the attention of popular idol Levi from the boy group SEZ. Levi himself is in a bit of a rut regarding his own personal musicality, which draws him to PLII's refreshing talent even more. He follows her on Stargram, instantly bringing more exposure and attention to her profile, and keeps wondering about whether he would have a place in PLII's playlist.

Levi is part envious and part inspired by PLII, which motivates him to reach out to her in hopes of a collaboration. However, it so happens that Levi is HanJu's classmate, and their relationship has always been rather rocky. This dilemma forms the central matter of the story and wonderfully brings forward a romance that is not only dreamy but also heart-warming.
