Alternative K-Pop group Balming Tiger just released 'SOS', a pre-released single from their upcoming debut studio album slated to drop later this year. The track marks their third pre-release, following the success of 'SEXY NUKIM (feat. RM of BTS)' which topped the Billboard’s "World Digital Song Sales" chart and their most recent single, 'Trust Yourself'.
For the first time, all members of Balming Tiger, including Omega Sapien, sogumm, Mudd the student, and BJ wnjn, collaborated on the new single. Additionally, BJ wnjn and Unsinkable served as producers while Leesuho handled the arrangement, bringing together all the producer members. The music video, directed by Jan' Qui, also marked the first time that 11 members of the band in various positions participated in a single track.

'SOS' is a love song interwoven with a deep yearning for a special someone, set against a psychedelic soundscape reminiscent of a red light. The lyrics express a willingness to go to any lengths and become anything for the desired object of affection. Furthermore, the song's narrator portrays themselves as a prisoner of love, who can only be saved by their partner, yet also emphasizes the ability to rescue their beloved in times of need, all under the overarching theme of 'SOS'.

Moreover, the album cover was entrusted to Jun Inagawa, a renowned Japanese illustrator with a history of successful collaborations with prominent fashion brands. Jun Inagawa fused his signature style with the unique color of the track to create the album art. Additionally, the music video was filmed in Hong Kong, where Jan' Qui took charge as the director. With the crew's unique sensibilities, he synthesized an atmosphere reminiscent of local film noir, resulting in an exceptional music video.
'SOS' was released today (April 11) at 6 PM KST, and is now available on all major global music platforms. The group recently returned to Korea after wrapping up their US tour in late March and is currently hard at work putting the finishing touches on their first studio album. The album is slated for release in the middle of this year, timed perfectly for the arrival of the hot summer season.
