An article/interview released by the writer Cielo Perez would gain attention and many thankful reactions by DREAMers (DPR Collective fanbase name) once it was released on October 10th 2023 at 11:00am.

Within the interview, the artist would mention that for, 'Peanut Butter & Tears', 'So I Danced' and 'Don't Go Insane'. He included various favorites of film references from his childhood such as "The Mask" and "The Wizard of Oz". While Tim Burtons' "Corpse Bride" can be seen in 'Don't Go Insane', there are also "Peter Pan" references.

DPR IAN is known amongst his fanbase for openly talking about his mental health issues and bipolar disorder, talking about things that have helped him throughout his time, and comforting fans with similar disorders, bringing a sense of community and safety within the global fanbase that many fans mention its hard to find elsewhere. This makes DPR IAN even more admirable, as mental health within the music scene is always difficult to properly handle and bring awareness to.
