There's no drought of talent in sight and through the many shows that air every week, there's bound to be numerous actors that catch our eye, aside from the main leads.

Depending on the success and appeal of a drama, even some older, more veteran actors are able to enter into the limelight. One of these actors seeing a rise in popularity is none other than Min WooHyuk.

Although he's spent roughly 20 years in the entertainment industry, he's finding newfound success with his portrayal of Roy Kim in the hit drama, "Doctor Cha". He's been sweeping the hearts of millions for his praiseworthy portrayal of the character.

Min WooHyuk was born on September 18, 1983 in Seoul, South Korea. He is currently signed to Yieum Company.

Even before his time appearing in K-Dramas, WooHyuk was extremely active as a musical actor. Some notable productions he's been a part of include "Wicked", "Marie Antoinette", and most recently "Hero". He also showcased his marvelous vocals through KBS' "Immortal Songs 2".

While his appearance in "Doctor Cha" has been stellar, one cannot forget that he's been active in the K-Drama industry since 2012. Although he's generally received smaller roles, Min WooHyuk has starred in series like "If You Wish Upon Me", "Love With Flaws", and "The Third Charm". With his growing popularity, fans can only hope that he'll receive even more leading roles once "Doctor Cha" has concluded.

He enjoys multiple sports including golf, bowling, and baseball. He was previously a professional baseball player during his college years. However, due to an injury, WooHyuk quit the sport to preserve his health.

He is currently married to fellow celebrity Lee SeMi. The lovely couple have two wonderful children: a son, Park YiDeun, and one daughter, Park YiEum. The family appeared on KBS' "The Return of Superman".
