Kim HyunWook made his acting debut in 2021 with the CheezeFilm production "The Female Friend Among Guys S2", followed by LETfilm's "The Audition". He was then cast in the web drama "Cherry Blossoms After Winter" as Kim JunSeung. His first role in a television drama came soon after with tvN's "Kill Heel", where he played James Miller.

"The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch" is Kim HyunWook's first major supporting role in a television drama, and he is already stealing the show! His character, Wong, is psychotic, immature, and pure evil. He is portrayed as an exceptional fighter and Kim HyunWook is performing his action scenes commendably and believably with great agility, which is amplified because of his towering and fit physique. The actor has fully melted into his character and his smile, which is otherwise adorable, looks crazed.
It takes quite the skill to make such an antagonistic character so intriguing, and Kim HyunWook is doing a great job at it so far. It will be interesting to see where this character's arc goes next.
