It's always great to see renowned veterans grace our screens, however, sometimes it's the supporting cast that catch our eyes and shine underneath the spotlight.

One actress who has progressively appeared on radars everywhere is Oh YeJu!

Despite only starring in a few K-Dramas, she has been a breath of fresh air, providing a revitalizing charm that warms everyone's heart. Look down below to learn more about the actress!

 

About Oh YeJu

Oh YeJu was born on October 5th, 2004, making her 19 years old. She is currently signed to RAIN Company, being labelmates with the iconic Rain and K-Pop idol group Ciipher.

She first made her debut through a CF for a milk company in 2019. Although her appearance is short, YeJu still portrayed a brightness that's apparent in her acting today.

She continued acting in various advertisements for brands such as Chinese cell phone company OPPO and cosmetic brand AMUSE. All of this led up to her eventual K-Drama debut, starting off in a supporting role in the heartwarming "Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha". She then appeared in "From Now On, Showtime!" where she continued to build up her experience outside of CFs.

Last year in 2022, Oh YeJu landed a role in "Under The Queen's Umbrella" where many fans discovered the actress. Her portrayal of Yoon ChungHa was an absolute joy to watch due to her innocently earnest attitude and lovable personality. While not in a main role, she was definitely a scene stealer, capturing the hearts of fans worldwide.

Now, the actress continues to amaze viewers through "The Matchmakers," continuing her streak of happy-go-lucky characters filled with overflowing warmth. In order to get to know the actress through her new role, she sat down with KBS for a "K-NEW STAR Interview."
