Golden Child's Hong JooChan Releases Remake 'How are You'

On February 6th 2024 Woolim Entertainment home of Lee Sujeong, Kwon Eunbi, Rocket Punch, DRIPPIN' and Golden Child would announce on their youtube SNS account of a teaser featuring Golden Child Member Hong Joochan who is the main vocalist within the group and is known for his passion of ballads, as well as his appearance on the popular singing show 'King of Masked Singer' in episode 153. 

Paired with an impressive resume of several musicals, it wouldn't take long before Joochan would finally make his solo debut on February 27th 2019 with the digital single [ A song for me ]. 

Since then, many fans have been wondering about other projects or features in store for the singer.

While more information was released about the single itself, it would later be revealed that it will be the latest remake from the song originally sung by Lee Jung Bong. The song itself featured on the album [ MISTY ] back in 1996 that also contained 8 other tracks. The album was released back on August 21st 1996. 

Lee Jung Bong is still active within the music scene and entertainment industry and has released numerous songs and albums throughout the years, including releasing [ How Have you been? ] Single which featured a Korean version and Chinese version of the track itself, and would be his first release since 2023. 

After the teaser and other promotional images have been released, Joochan's agency Woolim Entertainment has since officially released 'How are You' as shown below. Many fans praising Joochan for his take on the release, and his vocal prowess. 

Joochan has also since announced his casting as the devil's violinist in the musical 'Paganini'. The musical itself is currently listed to play at the National Museum of Korea's Theatre Yong on April 6th according to this promotional post here and here. This will be the second time Joochan will be playing as a violinist, as Golden Child also had a similar character during their time on the competition show Road To Kingdom which can be seen in this episode for their song 'Wannabe'.
