I.M becomes an MC for KBS new web series.

Im ChangKyun who is known for his various roles within the South Korean boy group Monsta X, he would later become a soloist on February 19th 2021 with the EP and beloved fan favourite [ Duality ], one year later the artist would sign with Sony Music Korea to further promote and gain activities as a solo artist and producer. 

It wouldn't be to long until I.M would comeback with the 6 track EP [ OverDrive ] in 2023, this release followed up by the single [ Slowly ] (feat. Heize) and most recently the 6 track EP [ Off the Beat ]. The EP itself containing the following slow r&b, soul with hip hop elements within the tracks: Lure (Title Track), Bust it (Explicit), XO, Skyline (Explicit), MMI and nbody on April 3rd 2024. 

I.M has been actively taken part in numerous media promotions promoting [ Off the Beat ] and his works as a solo artist. From appearing on the MBC Radio Program hosted by JaeJae on April 11th 2024, Sakshma Srivastav Interview on the ZOOM YouTube Channel with I.M on April 12th 2024, 9700 Studio EP 2 Appearance, Genie Music [ r&b Square ] 'Lure' Live Performance, and even magazine campaigns showing off his modelling charms: Allure Korea, including other interviews such as but not limited to: Style Caster Interview by LEA VELOSO, Consquence. The original curiosity started in fans upon joint tweets between KBS Kpop and IM promoting the series [ On the Beat ]. Although not a lot was known at the time due to the accounts only sharing behind the scenes photos and logo teaser on the 13th of April with the curious words 'Something New is Coming' would be enough to gain curious eyes and Monbebe's Attentions!. 

On April 13th KST (Korean Standard Time), the official KBS Kpop YouTube Channel would officially premiere the un official 'first episode' (Episode 0) to introduce the show to viewers. From performing his latest tracks 'Lure' (Title Track) and 'nbody' (Side Track) and the last track of the album, the artist would go on to answer some re occurring questions about his work as an artist, and feature to artists through phone calls (Monsta X's Leader and Vocalist Shownu), and fellow singer songwriter Heize. (Who has featured on the track 'Slowly'). 

Through the phone call with Shownu, the artist would mention at the 6:26 mark that I.M would appear on the show as a host (often referred to in the South Korean Industry as 'MC'). Later going on to share that the show will feature different artists and song writers within the industry itself with a possibly of not only completing a song but getting to know more within the industry itself. 

The first episode is expected to be released soon. 

MONSTA X came back with the powerful and well beloved EP [ Reason ] in 2023 before the groups members would fulfill their mandatory military service.
