Super Hallyu star Kim HyunJoong comeback in 2023 with bring a lot of happiness with him through his new album "MY SUN". He is undoubtedly so much talented. He is a multi-talented singer and actor. Only few people knows that he is not only a singer, who only sings songs…. but also, he is a song-writer and he is a great musician.
He makes wonderful music himself. Now, he is doing band music. He have his own band, and the name is "Gemini Band".
Recently, on February 27th, he released his self-composed 3rd full length Korean music album. The title is "MY SUN". The title and image of new album is arranged like a puzzle along with a blurred silhouette. Kim HyunJoong's "MY SUN" album is such a MASTERPIECE. This album contains a total number of 12 songs which were released 3 different times. The first 4 songs were released in last August, then the next 4 last November, and last 4 songs were released last February.

☆ Introduction & Explanation of Songs:
There's 1st song called, 'Lead Me In Your Way". This song is inspired by famous astronaut Michael Collins, a man who tried to go to the moon but couldn't reach the moon. This song shows his excitement and emptiness during his journey to the moon from Kim HyunJoong's perspective. It's such a beautiful song.
And, the 2nd song is 'Expectro Petronum'. This song is dedicated to fans (HENECIA), which gives a message of hope, strength and support. It's a bright and cheering song sang by Kim HyunJoong in his miraculous and melodious voice.
The 3rd song is, 'Sickness'. 'Sickness' is a rocking, cool and energetic song. This song is about COVID-19. In COVID-19 period, all people from all over the world suffered a lot, so this song shows that anger and frustration towards COVID-19. It's really awesome song and it can make you crazy with its energetic vibes.
The 4th song is 'Childlike'. It's a very lovely, beautiful, nostalgic and cute song about memories of our childhood. Childhood, that period of life when just small things were enough to make us happy. It's a song whose background music will make you feel of 80's & 90's music melody and will lost you in your childhood memories.
The 5th song, 'Binggle Binggle'. 'Binggle Binggle' literally means round and round. It has psychedelic vibe. This song tells about a repeative and boring life. This is a funky, moody, enjoyable and full of craziness song.
The 6th song in this album is 'A Tearful Rain'. It's a sad song, with the message of hope that is contained in the rain will wash away all tears and pain of our life with it. There's a saying about music, that everybody knows: "When you are happy, you enjoy lyrics but when you are sad, you understand lyrics." The mentioned saying is a perfect fit for this song, because although it's a sad song, it'll make you enjoy it much more when you are in a good mood and will make you cry when you're sad.
'Prism Time' is seventh song. This song is dedicated to fans (HENECIA), who endured the COVID-19 period. It gives a message of hope. It's another beautiful song, which shows his love for fans.
The 8th song is 'Hello My Daddy'. It's a emotional song. This song shows the love and special bonding of pet owners with their pets. All pet owners can relate to this song. You can feel the sadness and pain of every pet owner just by listening to this song. Even if you don't know Korean, you can also feel that pain in this song.
The 9th song in this album is 'Cupid's Arrow'. This song is a love song. It's a retro style song. It shows the innocence and freshness of old days. It'll refresh some of your old memories, and to some of you, it will lose you in the days from the 90s. It's very sweet, lovely, and happy song with Kim HyunJoong's sweet voice, which makes it more sweet and special, and it will make you enjoy this song so much.
The 10th song title is 'Take Me Home'. This song is about a child who sees his father's back and understand the weight of life. This is a sweet and heartwarming song sang with so much love.

This new album have its 11th song about our universe... That universe, which is always here for us. The title is 'The Moon, Sun and Your Song'. It's already released in Japan, in 2020. And now it's also added in the Korean album too.
The last one, the 12th is the title song 'MY SUN'. Kim HyunJoong dedicated this song to his beloved ones. It's a heart touching and wonderful song. There's a hopeful message in this song. It'll take you few minutes to come out from your emotions, after hearing it.

Kim HyunJoong is a great and incredible musician. He did work on this new album so briefly and in details. His dimensions in music is beyond outstanding and brilliant. It's understandable by above mentioned all points. There's almost everything include in"'MY SUN" album which should be called as a MASTERPIECE.
You can listen all songs according to your mood. It (the album) contains all emotions/feeling. And even one dance song is also there for your dancing mood. And his variation of signing in each song is really amazing. He blended band music and string orchestra performance so beautifully. And all his MVs have their own charm.
As we said earlier, there are 5 MVs. And we discussed only 4, because the 5th MV, which is for 'Cupid's Arrow' was released last March 4th in his "MY SUN" Concert.
