Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Annyeonghasaeyo! Naneun Dolivee-imnida!😊👋 Hello fellow K-Pop fans, my name is Dolivee, and you may call me Dolly for short. I am from Alfonso, Cavite, Philippines. I am a Heartrider and one of the admins of SEO IN GUK PHILIPPINES 💚 만나서 반갑습니다 [ mannaseo pangabsimnida] 👋👋👋.

 

Who is your favorite Korean actor/actress? And how and when did you become a fan?

I’ve been a fan of this actor (Seo InGuk) since 2012 . He is a multitalented actor. Singer, actor, director, songwriter, everyone, meet Seo InGuk. I’ve watched Seo InGuk-oppa when I was in Singapore. Being alone and not having family with me in a foreign country, Seo InGuk was the one who was always there for me and that’s how I’ve become addicted to him. So after watching him in the drama “Reply 1997”. I watched his every show, even the shows from the past. I love how he acts. He is really a versatile actor. He can pull a romcom, suspense, action, romance, name it he can really do all of it. Even in reality shows, he really nails it. He is a very good singer as well. One of my favorite is ‘All for You’. I feel like I am the one who he is singing for. Haha. And after that he has always been with me. From then till now.

 

What are the reasons why you love your favorite actor?

I love Seo InGuk, not just the way he acts and sings. I really adore him when he is offcam. The way he talks with his staff, he looks so friendly. This is why I’m so into him whenever I see his behind the scenes and my heart flutters for him for some reason that I can’t explain. The way he giggles and laugh and his eyes. All of it- I’m so addicted to his charm.

 

Can you recommend dramas or movies starring your favorite actor for new fans?

You may watch “MyulMang” or “Doom At You Service” for starters then you can watch the past dramas after like “Reply 1997”, “High School King”, “Shopping King Louis”, “Squad 38”. The movie I can recommend is “Pipeline”. You will never regret it. And of course, “Cafe Minamdang” that is now on Netflix and the upcoming movie project “Wolf Hunting”. For sure you will also be hooked by his acting skills and charm.

 

Do you have an all-time favorite scene? Can you describe it or share a video?

For me, I always have a favorite scene on every drama of InGuk-oppa but there’s this scene which really hit my heart so much. It’s in “Doom At Your Service”. It’s the amusement park scene. When MyulMang let DongKyung go back in the past to see her parents, and also there is a kiss scene in the ferris wheel ahaha. I love it. MyulMang is cold but sweet at the same time. 🥰🥰

 

What was your favorite answer given by your favorite actor in an interview?

It’s when he mentioned that he really needs to go to the Philippines if he has the time. I’m really excited for his fanmeeting here in the Philippines.

 

What is your favorite actor’s influence on your daily life or yourself?

Since Seo InGuk Oppa came from a poor family, he’s a literal “rugs to riches” type of a person. And I also love how he respects his parents. He really helps me a lot to think positive in every way, and of course I want to be successful also like him, not as an artist but as a good person. He is really a one-of-a-kind man I could only imagine. He influences me in everything he does. And because I want to meet him, he influences me to learn Korean language and even the Korean culture. I’m really interested learn more.

 

What genre do you want your favorite actor to appear in? What’s the reason?

I guess, horror. I’ve never seen him acting in a horror film yet. I want to see if he can still nail it but I guess he can. He will always nail it.

 

Which actors would you like your favorite actor to act with? What’s the reason?

I guess, IU or Han HyoJoo. He has never acted with them yet and I know they will be able to pull off a nice romcom or maybe romance drama together.

 

Which character played by your favourite actor made you fall in love with them?

The first character was Yoon YoonJae from “Reply 1997”. This is the first drama I’ve seen Seo InGuk. ☺️

 

Which co-actor do you think had the best chemistry with your favourite actor?

Not a shipper here. But I love it when he was with Lee SooHyuk in a drama. They’re both very good actors. For actresses, I really don’t know because he suits every partner in each K-Drama he appeared in. Not bragging here but he really looks good with anyone. I guess it’s because he is a good actor .😊

 

What is a random fact that you think people don’t know about them?

He is an INFJ. An INTROVERT, to be exact. *I’m not sure if everyone knows this but his fans do, I guess.☺️

 

If you could spend the day with them, what would you want to do together?

라면 먹고싶다… haha . Kidding aside, I just want to stay at home and just talk about lives. Haha. So introvert 😅 me as INTP…

 

What do you think is the most underrated work by your favourite actor?

I’m not sure because I watched all his drama and movies, and it’s good. Haha. And as a fan, I have to protect him at all cost 😊.

 

If you could be in any scene with your favourite actor, which scene would it be and why?

As Seo InGuk is the lead, I might say that I want to be his Go BokShil of “Shopping King Louie”. If you watched this drama, you’ll know why. Haha. And also Jung SooYoung of “High School King of Savvy”. 😁🥰 Because SEO INGUK IS THE MASTER OF KISSING 😜🤪😘.

 

What is your favourite way of communicating with your favourite actor?

For real, I was just checking all his instagram post and sometimes, I rewatch his dramas ☺️.

 

Can you recall a moment where you cried/laughed with your favourite actor?

His latest drama “Cafe Minamdang”. While watching some of the episodes, I really cried with him- most especially when he got hypnotized to remember the past experience with his best friend that died 😭😭😭.

 

Name 1 quality in your favourite actor that you wish you had.

I wish I could sing like him. His vocals are amazing. 👍👍👍

 

If you could write a book about your favourite character, what would the first and last lines be?

The man I love. The man who never knew I exist! 💕😔

 

What do you have in common with your favourite actor?

I guess we are the same being introverts but we know how to enjoy our lives. 😊

 

What is your 2022 prediction for your favourite actor?

He will be known all around the world because of his talent. He is a very warm person as he looks. He really looks like he loves what he’s doing. I’ll keep supporting SEO INGUK ALL THE WAY! 🥰😊

 

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite actor?

No, I guess none. Being a Heartrider myself, I need to protect InGuk-oppa at all cost. He is my saviour and he will always be my forever love.

Actually, it’s always the plot of the story. They always have a twist that you are not expecting at all. You’ll be surprised on every drama and movie you’ll watch because they don’t have the same story. You cannot tell what will happen next. This is why K-Drama and K-Movies are addicting.

 

What is the 1st K-Drama you’ve watched?

The very first K-Drama I’ve watched was the “Jewel In The Palace”. This was aired way back 2005 (in the Philippines) haha. Kinda funny because you’ll know my age because of this lol 😆… and Seo InGuk was not yet an artist then! 😁

 

What makes you watch a drama?

For me, I’ve been hooked in the K-Drama world because of the story itself. It’s a bit different. The plot of the story is so thrilling. I mean no offense, no hate but in the Philippines, you would already know the ending even when the drama is not yet done, but in K-Drama, there is always a plot twist which will make you amazed. I guess this is the reason why I watched K-Drama from then till now 😊.
