So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello, this is daily tzuyu or ctzdaily. My name is Claire and I'm from the Philippines.

How and when did you enter the fandom?

I officially became an ONCE in 'Signal' era. It was my classmates who introduced TWICE to me. They were watching 'TT' dance practice and tried to copy the dance. TWICE is a 9 member group. They're short of 1 person, so they invited me and said that I should dance with them. I asked what they were watching, they said it was dance practice by a K-Pop group. Then I became curious about them. I started watching their other MV's, variety shows, who's who, and how to pronounce their names.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

Their friendship and bond is so strong. They're also kind. They have different personalities, so when they're together, it's chaotic, but that's what I love the most. They're the first group I became curious about. I tried to stan other groups but I don't why I can't stan them the way I did to TWICE. Maybe because TWICE just feels different.

Who caught your attention at first and why?

TZUYU. When I first watch the 'Like Ooh Ahh' MV, I saw her and thought she's so pretty.

Who is your bias, and why?

Tzuyu. I became curious about her at first, but when I got to know more about what kind of personality she has, that's when I decided she would be my bias. She's been my bias for almost 5 years now.

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

If you're a new fan, then you should watch 'Like Ooh Ahh' MV. It's a must to know and listen to their whole discography.

For B-side, my favorite is 'One In A Million'. IT'S THE THEME SONG OF ONCE! It's their first song dedicated to us, their fans. Aside from being a fan song, it's also a ballad song with amazing lyrics.

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

For song cover, Tzuyu' 'ME!' Melody Project is the best! Let's stream and reach 30M as soon as possible💙

For V Live, Tzuyu's 'KimTZUYU' live is a must watch! She looks so cute cooking there.

For the song cover, 'Pretty U' by SEVENTEEN is my all time FAVORITE! IT'S SO GOOODDD!

For V Live, the 2000 days group live is a good watch. All of their lives are fun, but this is my favorite group live.

A quote from Tzuyu, "If you're feeling like you are too tired, it's okay to slow down".

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

Just watching her smile and laugh makes me happy so when I'm in a bad mood just remembering how she smile can make me smile. I also tried to study Korean because of her.

What type of concept do you prefer: cute, dark, sexy, etc?

Cute and Sexy concept.

What's your favourite 2022 moment involving your bias?

When she surprised everyone with her new haircut at the concert!

What is a random fact that you think people don't know about them?

Tzuyu is the crybaby of the group, and Sana is the only extrovert in the group. The rest are introverts!

If your bias were to collab with another idol, who do you think would be best?

Shuhua of (G)I-DLE! Since they're best friends, I'd like to see them perform on stage together💜.

Can you recommend a cute or funny video (30s)/gif of your bias to our readers?

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

The group is that they have no talent, always do cute songs, and are just famous because of Big3 privileges. It's not true! TWICE is so good at dancing and singing. If you're not believing me, then you should watch their dance practices and concerts. It is also not true that they only do cute songs. Have you heard of 'Cry for Me'? 'Perfect World'? 'Alcohol-Free'? 'I Can't Stop Me'? And many dismiss TWICE because they claim they have only become well-known because of their company, but NO! The survival shows received low ratings as well. They just gained popularity because of their hit song 'Cheer Up.' That's when they gained their first music show win.
For Tzuyu, it's that she's cold, boring, and has no personality. She's not cold; it's just that she's shy and not comfortable around new people, and she's not the type of person to show her feelings in public. She's not boring; if you watch 'TTT' videos you will see how funny she is! She's an effortless comedian!
