There are K-Pop fans across the globe who share the same passion. But on online platforms, it is hard to know about each other' stories and K-Pop life. Even if we are in the same fandom, it is hard to get to know each other.

So at Kpopmap, we started the Kpopmap Fan Interview Project to get to know more about K-Pop fans from different countries: more about their K-Pop life and tastes and to give them the opportunity to share with our readers about their favorite group(s) and bias.

Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

How and when did you enter the fandom?

Actually, due to boredom in lockdown, I remembered my friend recommending me K-Drama. So about last year 2020 May, I just asked her and she said watch "True Beauty" and I really loved it and fell in love with Cha EunWoo's acting and Googled for more dramas and get to know that EUNWOO oppa is in a music band. That's when I explored ASTRO.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite group?

The reason why I like them is their refreshing energy I always feel energetic and happy around their songs, V Lives, behind the scenes and their synchronization is no joke. ✨

Who caught your attention at first and why?

From the group that's SanHa oppa as I thought how can someone be this cute.

Who is your bias, and why?

As I mentioned it was EunWoo oppa the one who drag me to ASTRO and after that, I fell for all of them. MJ oppa's loud laugh, JinWoo oppa's heartwarming and leader nature, EunWoo oppa's calm nature, Binie oppa having fun with members, MinHyuk oppa's unbeatable energy and last but not the least SanHa oppa's cute maknae nature. And this is ASTRO.
But still, if anyone asks me who is your bias then it's EunWoo oppa. 💜

Can you recommend a title track and a B-side track for new fans?

My favorite title track is 'ALL NIGHT' it's a very very very nice song if you listen to it once you will not regret I bet this 💯.

And all the B-side tracks are also good but the ones I like are 'With You', 'You and Me', and 'Our Spring' (*listening to it right now while writing this ☺️😅).

Can you recommend a fancam, V Live, cover video, cover dance, or individual content video of your bias to our readers?

I really want to recommend EunWoo oppa's "Just one 10 minutes". As he gets so cute in there. I recommend this one. 

Can you also do the same type of recommendation for the group?

Oh I really like all the covers but the very two that I want to recommend is Rocky oppa's "Ice Flower",

And Bruno Mars cover 'Grande'.

and SanHa oppa's "10 Reasons To Love You",

and all the V Lives are too fun to watch u just have to search once. 😁

And I recommend their "ASTRO play" too.

Can you share with us one of your favorite lyrics?

My favorite one is from the recent 'After Midnight' Song: "걱정하지 마 내가 다 막아줄게..." "don't worry I will protect you" it is one of the most heartwarming line. 🥰🥰

Are there any words from the members you would like to share?

"If you are happy to be AROHA then we are more happy to be ASTRO" - by MinHyuk oppa.

 

And one more that's so heart touching for me and I think all the AROHA out there.
Once JinWoo oppa said "things are hard for AROHA, AROHA can rely on ASTRO. And when it will hard for ASTRO, we will rely on AROHA be there for all of us 🥺🥺"

What is your favorite group/bias' influence on your daily life?

Yes there are so many influence of them on me I really want to learn Korean as soon as possible so that I can talk and understand what they are saying and they always change my mood very easily and yes also inspire me not to give up.

What is your favorite side of fangirling/fanboying?

My favorite side of fangirling is always be their with them, listening to their songs and they are always there for me making me fell up when I am down 🥰🥰 I will always be there for them as an AROHA. 💜

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite group from other fans (non-fans)?

So people think that EunWoo oppa is very calm kinda nature and can't catch up with the chaotic energy of the group but it's not like that when you see a group V Live or anything he is doing with ASTRO, he is as chaotic as others sometimes most chaotic from all.
