Can you introduce yourself? Where are you from?

Hello Everyone!
I am Shayani Nandy from India 🇮🇳, West Bengal.

Who is your favorite Korean actor/actress? And how and when did you become a fan?

One of the Most talented and versatile actor NAM JOOHYUK. He caught my attention when I watched "The Bride of Habaek". OH.MY.GOD ! He surprised me with each and every scene.

What are the reasons why you love your favorite actor?

There are countless reasons why I love him. I saw Nam JooHyuk for the first time in the series called "The Bride of Habaek / Bride of Water God". So there I loved his personality. He played the character of the water God so well that this drama became my all-time favourite. I fell in love with his eyes there. The emotions, the passion, the urge of love, every expression was on point. His eyes were enough to catch the emotions of drama.
After that, I watched "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" where his character was completely different from "The Bride of Habaek". There, his childish irritating cute appearance is enough to fall in love with him even more. In "The Light in Your Eyes" and "Josée" he played extraordinary roles. Then again he played a different type of character in "Start-Up". So I can proudly say that he is indeed a versatile actor.
There is another important reason to love him that is.... After finishing "The Bride of Habaek", I started searching for his work. I started watching each and every he had done. What I felt is that Nam JooHyuk is a very humble and simple person. He doesn't seem like a celebrity. The way he talks, the way he smiles, the way he behaves with others is so humble which makes him a pure gentleman. This is what I love the most.

Can you recommend dramas or movies starring your favorite actor for new fans?

I strongly recommend to watch " Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo"

and "Start-Up".

And I would like to suggest his movie called "Josée". The emotions and the storyline of this movie is beautiful and it gives me mental peace.

Do you have an all-time favorite scene? Can you describe it or share a video?

There are plenty of scenes which I watch everyday!! The first one is from "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo". I love the innocence of this scene. The way Nam JooHyuk pulled Lee SungKyung closer to him after getting a peck from her is extremely adorable.

The second one is from "Start-Up". In this particular scene, the way he started blushing because Bae Suzy held his hand is freaking cute!!!!!! This scene is very heartwarming and fluttering. It gives me butterflies in my stomach every time I watch this.

What was your favorite answer given by your favorite actor in an interview?

Nam JooHyuk struggled a lot from the beginning. I specifically one interview which is from 7 years ago. Here is talking about how he became an actor from a model. So I like the entire interview.

What is your favorite actor's influence on your daily life or yourself?

His journey from a model to an actor is a big lesson to me. The way he never gave up and fought with every difficulty and become an artist, that inspires me a lot. Also, he himself is a beautiful example of a gentleman which amazes me a lot.

I feel like Korean Drama contains unique concepts. Each and every drama, each and every movie has its own unique concepts and most importantly there are lessons. It leaves us with a proper note which helps us to free ourselves from the questions of our life.
And every Drama has a lot of talented actors and actresses. All of them are marvelous.

What genre do you want your favorite actor to appear in? What's the reason?

I want to see Nam JooHyuk in a negative role. I know it's too much to ask because he seems very gentle and humble as I said before. But every time I watch him, my expectations from him keep on increasing. So yeah, I would love to watch him in a negative role. But obviously, him in a romantic dramas is my always favourite.

What are the actors you would like your favorite actor to act with? What's the reason?

I really want him to work with Ahn HyoSeop, because I feel like both of them looks so much alike. I really want to see them as brothers. Also with Jung HaeIn, Song JoongKi, Hwang InYoup.

Do you feel there are any misunderstandings, things that are not well known, or any prejudices about your favorite actor?

I feel like some people always try to meddle in his personal life. Most importantly in his dating life. There are rumours about his girlfriend, break, etc.
I think people should not interfere actor's personal life. Not only him, but it also applies to every actor and actress. It's their personal life. They have full freedom to date freely. So people should stay away from their personal life and focus on his beautiful work he is providing us.
